charleston. oh man.
so this week i was invited to join my friends sabrina & sydney, on a quick girls trip to charleston. needless to say... i'm in love. i have never been to a place with so much history & culture! and me being obsessed with the history behind places & things, the old south, time travel, and fashion from the civil war era... i am in Heaven & am learning so much!
i have taken a few pictures, okay... alot of pictures to share with y'all! but for now just a quick update!
we are staying at a GORGEOUS hotel, The Mills House. it's siiick. and right on Meeting Street, which is a major street here in Charleston... basically like the strip in Las Vegas, but better because it is complete with southern hospitality and old world charm :)
last night, for dinner we ate at Jestine's Kitchen. legit southern food. yumm. it is a precious little hole in the wall & every table has different vintage S&P shakers... i love when restaurants have something special about them like that. PLUS! they serve coke IN A BOTTLE, offer fried okra... one of my faves, and macaroni & cheese is on the menu... as a vegetable?? love it.
more tomorrow! will definitely share.. can't wait to bring husband here :)
