new york city is huge.

top of the rock.
rockefeller center that is.
we went to the top to see the view of nyc, which is supposedly better than the empire state building view… but who knows. all i can say is NEW YORK CITY IS HUGE.
holy canoli!
it just goes & goes & goes & goes…. pretty cool. i could not tell you what is captured in these photos, because i did not make good use of my little guide that says this is that… but nonetheless it was a great view :)
enjoy!

husband’s childhood home :)

you know me.

any chance to feel nostalgic about something... i'm in.

this time it actually had nothing to do with me, but with husband. while in new york, i had the chance to go and visit his childhood home! SO cool. I had heard so much about it in past conversations with him and his family, so it was really awesome to be able to see it first hand and imagine them living there & also to imagine husband as a little boy.... heart officially MELTED. i have seen chris' baby/kid pictures and boy oh boy, even though i'll be done for, i can't wait to have a miniature him running around one day :)

aaaaanyway...

their home was a home office, chris' dad's chiropractic office held the bottom story of the house, & they lived upstairs. it seems as if it is the same for whoever lives & works their now too!

very cool :)

so! enjoy pics! and enjoy this wonderful day! i am having a greaaaat day & i sincerely hope that you are too :) we all have much to be thankful for!

xoxo

gypsy donut.

one morning, tristan had the morning off from class, so we spent the morning in Nyack. Nyack is actually a cute little town where our friends the sanfords live & is actually about 10 minutes from where husband grew up! so cute! we had breakfast at gypsy donut. deeeeelish. might possibly be the best donut i’ve had! thank you margaret for the recommendation!!

st. patrick’s cathedral

while in NYC one of my favorite places that we visited was st. patrick’s cathedral. we unfortunately could not get a picture of the outside because it is in the process of being restored so scaffolding galore! but the inside was absolutely stunning! AND we witnessed TWO weddings while we were there! how romantic :)
