easter weekend!

i'm just gonna go ahead and make an official statement... "holidays with family" posts don't get the pictures narrowed down. one day, when this blog is printed into tangible books, i want my loved ones to turn the pages and see that they were there... posed, candid, artistic or otherwise.
so, photo overload commence! easter weekend!

our first egg dyeing experience!
sooo cute how careful abel was + lucy pigs are always an added sweetness to any scene. this was fun for a good 20 minutes and then we took all the eggs out and abel was pretty much onto the next thing. i'm sure he will be plenty crafty in the years to come, but this year it was dye, stickers, and that's a wrap!

^^^the sunsets are getting more beautiful each day, thank you Jesus

easter morning, He is risen indeed!!
i made little hiding bunny butts for pancakes, they were mistaken for mickey mouse by both of my boyfriends... womp womp, i still think they're cute though + more importantly, they were delicious! we all ate, opened abel's easter basket, got ready, + made the late service. abel cried in the kids room + i'm seriously beginning to wonder if we will ever be able to attend regular church without traumatizing him in the process :( poor guy, i'm sure he will come around.
^^^these pictures of lucy have my heart on the floor over here. she looked so sweet + so un-amused, and i just think there's nothing better than her little spirit.

For lunch, we headed to Ashton's house + enjoyed a meal together, and the littles had their first legit egg hunt, hoorah! they were both so stinkin' cute lookin' for and finding all those eggs, children bring so much more joy to holidays and family gatherings.
^^^new favorite pictures, stooooop it

We finished up the day at our little home, with my little fam. I'm so thankful for them. I'm so thankful for a Savior who suffered + died for my sins and rose again so that I could be forgiven + live a life as beautifully blessed as mine. i'm reminded each day when i look into the faces of my loved ones, or at the sunset outside my window... God is good.
