better late than never :)

well better late than never i think! we were traveling this past week & so this is the first chance i am having to post our new years pics!!
we were feeling a more low key new years eve celebration this year! we are just much more interested in spending time with family & friends, playing games, snacking, and snuggling :)

what were some of YOUR favorite memories from 2011?

a coffee date.

this week i was privileged to spend an afternoon with two of my wonderful friends, bethany & kala. i LIVE for loooong coffee dates (or hot chocolate in my case :)) with friends! long talks about this & that... laughing & enjoying the company of eachother! probably has something to do with my CURRENT love language... but THAT, i will post about later this week! to say the least, it was wonderful. all of my friends that i love and cherish so much are spread out! california, texas, colorado, carolina, new york... you name it! so getting to spend even a few hours with them is a blessing!

what's on my heart lately? babies.

it's kind of hard to NOT have babies on your heart, when everyone you know either has one or is having one! they are so so precious & the fever has set in. husband and i don't have any plans of when we will be having our own, we just trust that when God says we are ready, He will bless us with a little & we will be ecstatic! when i think about having a family with chris & becoming a mommy... i can't help but smile from ear to ear :)
