over the weekend we celebrated mine & my dad's birthdays!
i love themed anything, so we decided to go with a kentucky derby themed party! bow ties, suspenders, fancy hats & all! it was a great party & SO much fun. everyone looked adorable. the food was deeeelish, sangria for all, we played life size jenga & hillbilly golf, had three different cakes & spent time with the ones we love most.

i am SO thankful for family & good friends. they make life so wonderfully full of love! 25 has been pretty wonderful so far! husband stayed home in the morning & took me to breakfast, my older sister & i had a froyo date, we all had dinner at my parents house, and well abel.... he's just the best thing that ever happened. with him around, life is absolutely perfect, all the bad just disappears. thank you Lord in Heaven for my wonderful life.
next up... my first mother's day! may has officially turned out to be my favorite month. birthdays, mother's day & an anniversary with the one i call home.
