here & there: new house edition.

sooo this whole moving, making a house a home thing… takes some work. sheesh! that being said, i am loving every minute of it & working hard to hopefully be somewhat finished before our little mister shows up!

progress is being made people.

i will absolutely post a home tour, with each room & all it’s details… one of those photo overload posts, because i mean this IS a blog so, you know. until then though, just some of this & some of that! have a wonderful weekend!

**ps, as you can see… the pets have made themselves at home. THAT didn’t take long!**

a little before… & a little after for your thursday.

we’ve been busy little bees over here while we wait for our little man to join us. moving, decorating painting… you name it! we even hosted taco tuesday this week at our house for my family :)

&& yesterday folks… wait for it… we got our internet set up! woop woop! soooo, since i finally had access to all of my pictures, i wanted to show you guys two of our before & after projects we’ve been working on.

first up… baby bassinet.

we found this little gem at a thrift store here in town for $30! it matched the style of the crib we had picked out perfectly and was a must have. baby boy’s nursery is in warmer/bolder colors, so we wanted to do something totally different for the bassinet since it will spend most of it’s time in our room or the living room. we love it.

there's a little thing i like to call, moving food.

i won't explain, let me just introduce to you...

serious texas bar-b-q.

it's right up the road from our house & i think that could be a future problem... so so good. it hopefully won't be as problematic as having a dunkin' donuts a mile up the road... we'll see.
we enjoyed some of this deliciousness at the end of moving day one.
did I mention I'm so happy we are done moving?
I am.
I'm SO thankful for our awesome family for helping us get it done! special shout out to my handsome brother in law, my father in law, Clayton & to husband for doing all the heavy lifting! we honestly could NOT have moved without the help of everyone, because let's be honest... Baby & i personally were a TON of help... ha.

moving weekend.

boy oh boy.

this past weekend was moving weekend! SO exciting! we were both still getting over the horrible cold or flu that we had & it was probably the coldest weekend we've had yet... but nonetheless we got it done! for the first time ever, all of our things are in one place.

... it's ALOT of stuff.

we've already filled a few HUGE bins full of stuff for donation, and it feels good to clean out & get organized. with that, comes knowing where everything is for once, which is SUPER nice. we are so so very excited to be in our own place again and the cuuuutest little house EVER, at that!

today is my day off and i'm hoping to be done with sorting & cleaning out & can DECORATE!! oh, the fun part :)

believe me, once it's decorated to my liking, i will bombard you with a million pictures. deal? deal.

oh hey there! hope you're having a happy day!
we've been sick over here! got hit with a baaad cold. not fun. so not much is new, except that we move into our house THIS WEEKEND!!! woop woop! we are SO excited y'all! now just pray that we feel better & CAN actually move our things AND that the wonderful snow holds off until we are snuggled up on our couch in our new home!

after searching & searching, not being ready, being disappointed, things falling through, etc.... AS USUAL, God knew what He was doing & had a better plan :)

we finally found a home!

it's everything we wanted but way more!

since the first time i visited fort collins, the adorable houses in old town stole my heart! cozy, cute, unique, vintage... perfection in my eyes :)

what do i love even more about OUR house though?! it has the look & feel of old town, but it's on an acre, RIGHT by the lake with a mountain view & has a cuuuuutie address!

we are SO very excited!

we move in in early January!

finally, a house to make a home! a place to decorate & have all of our things in one place for the FIRST time since we've been married! a place to host our friends & family! snuggle on our couch together, and SO exciting... a place to bring our baby home to!

the Lord has seriously answered so many of our prayers over the past week & really just lined things up for us in a way that has been undeniable. i, for one, am incredibly thankful! i just feel like after so much of our lives being up in the air & at times unclear, it is all finally settling & unraveling as it should.

Praise you Lord.
