oh harvey...

as mentioned in this post, our boy has a new habit of counter surfing & he's got a sharp nose for dessert. cookies seem to be his favorite find so far, though in recent months, he has found, unpackaged & eaten the following:

1/4 of a bag of frosted animal crackers

a piece of pie from the farmer's market

4 favor bags from my baby shower... that's TWELVE! chocolate dipped oreos

neiman marcus cake

donut holes

2 caramel apple pops

aaaaand we aren't forgetting ANY dog food that is left around the house that doesn't belong to him. you would think he's never been fed... HE HAS. THIS is a brand new habit he has started & we are not sure WHERE it came from. i was REALLY worried at first, because i was scared he'd be sick, but apparently he is a tank & just loves dessert... boy after my own heart, haha! we really aren't bad dog parents & are keeping an EXTRA close eye on him these days! cross your fingers for us that he loses his sweet tooth here before the holidays, because there will be LOTS of goodies around.... oh boy!

a playdate.

happy monday! harvey had a playdate over the weekend! a playdate with LOTS of new doggie friends. however, he was really more interested in hanging with his cousin barkley! we actually got him to go in the water! not swim, but he walked out a ways :) he’s such a good boy! he got lots of cheers and pets!

mornings with harlow.

morning snuggles with harlow are the best.

she usually sleeps tucked behind my knees, under the covers. in the morning though, she gets hot & retreats to outside of the blankets, either above my head on the pillow, or down by my feet.

what’s cuter though… she can tell when i’m awake. she knows the difference between me rolling over to change positions, & me moving & being awake. I’ll glance down at her without lifting my head from the pillow & i’ll see her ears perk up.

she’ll then army crawl her way up to my face, smiling & yawning the entire way. snuggle sesh. i love that little puppy so much. she warms my heart right up :)

as always, i love you. you have the cutest little puppy paws & always manage to get comfy in the cutest or most comical positions. thank you for making me say, 'chris look!' and pointing in your direction 12,384 times a day.

pretty sure you make the best donuts, chai tea latte & coffee(husband) in the world. why are you so awesome?

isn't there something besides adele to play?

dear skinny jeans,

when are you planning to go out of style? i really miss some of my old bootcut/flare jeans that have been patiently waiting in my closet to be worn.

a glimpse into our weekend.

well hey!

we had some fun around here this past weekend. spent time with friends, & ate... alot, which always makes for a good time in my book. anywayyy... mark's girlfriend emma was in town and it was SO great getting to know and spend time with her! she, like me, comes from a family of 5 kids, which now means TWO of my friends (abby also :)) know how AWESOME it is to be part of a huge family. && did i mention that we LOVE her?? well, we do. good job mark.

we had a triple date night with our favorite romeo's, which turned out to be their LAST night as just the two of them, because they had their baby the next day!!! woohoo!! aaaand we got coldstone, deeeelish. i could seriously have ice cream every night of my liiife.

oh, and then the next day we ate some more hahaha! i am not ashamed :) we made a delicious breakfast & i got a cuuuute picture of the lovebirds so that we could make mark's presence known in our house ha! (he is currently our roomie, so it's only fair to add him into the mix of photos up around the house :))

and as usual, we had some cuuuute puppies hanging around.

&& then emma treated us to her delicious "smash burgers" they were SO good, and i tried a pinterest recipe for "smashed potatos" found HERE.

now we're back to monday & i officially LOVE my husband more than i even thought i could. why you ask? no reason. i just do. he is such an incredible man and after 8 years of "dating" -- almost two of those being married-- i still look at him & think, "wow, is he seriously mine?" eeeeep! thank you, thank you Lord for blessing me with him. i am the luckiest girl in the world.

well hi there!

okay... many of my recent posts have been super fun to do, however, they have not so much been about my personal life, and since i would consider this blog to be more of a lifestyle blog than anything, i figured it was time to post some pics of the fam!

honestly, i've been so busy with "work" stuff that life has been pretty uneventful in the "kickin' it && awesome" department... BUT that is about to change! the eagles have their first game on april 7th (husband's birthday...) and that day pretty much marks the start of non-stop fun festivites until september!

so that's the good news!

for today... our widdle babies.

they bring PURE joy to my heart. i mean, look at those faces! gah! i die! please enjoy & allow your face to break out into the biggest grin possible :)

oh boy.

So... i have been a horrible blogger these past two weeks! SWAMPED with dance. editing music, choreographing, teaching, etc. not complaining, however missing my little blog! not much to share from the past week.. literally dance is all i have done! oh.. and we started watching Parenthood on Netflix.... GREAT show. it reminds me so much of our family!! and it makes me miss them even more! BUT the good news is... only one more week until I am home to see them! SUCH great news! a teaching job back in Colorado came through last minute & I am SO thankful for it! and to be able to see my beautiful home, my family and ELLE!!! the only thing that could make it better? if husband were coming... :) anyways... here are a couple of pictures from the week! i finished up mixing music today & will be back to regularly scheduled blogging soon! love to all<3
