happy list.

a quick happy list before heading off to bed, just felt like the right time :) a few things making my heart happy this week are...

the baby growing strong & healthy in my belly. 
dry summer heat, thank you Colorado.
working at the vintage shop.
the puppkins.
my husband & his heart.
quaker rice cakes... cheddar is where it's at ;)
parenthood on netflix.
quality time with my mom.
every time my phone rings "husband"
being home with my family.

everything is just peachy!

oh hello trimester two! 

nice to meet you!

so in case you haven't heard... these days we compare growing babies & their size each week to fruits & veggies & all sorts of fun things like that. weird right? yea, i guess... but it makes for fun photo opps, so you know.

today marks 13 full weeks & during this past week, our little bun grew to the size of a peach!

not too shabby if you ask me! good job baby.

please keep our little in your prayers! pray that he or she keep growing strong in there & stay nice and cozy in the oven i am providing. we are SO thrilled about this little one & are thankful each day that God has chosen us.

one of my favorite lyrics from the song, 'your favor' by elevation worship goes like this:

"i'll give you everything i have, 'cause i was undeserving, 

and you chose me"

it is truer than true every day. we are all undeserving of Christ's love and the sacrifice He made for us so that we could live. 

live these glorious, joyful, hope filled lives. 

but i feel it more now than ever.

He has chosen US. He has chosen ME. to have part in creating a life. to be given the responsibility and HONOR to raise another beautiful human being in His Name!

it's too big for me to fully wrap my head around, i am just thankful.

thank you Jesus. thank You for Your love.

 lived in our very first married house together, discovered gingeronnis, grew closer to the Lord, met some of the most special people in our lives, really started devoting more time to this little blog, discovered pinterest... umm BIG deal, and my personal favorite... it is the city where we found out we were pregnant with our very first little baby!

colorado, my home sweet home...

just a little snapshot of colorado in all it's glory...

oh yea, so in other news...

we are moving back to colorado for the off season this year!

i am already here, and chris will join me in a few weeks when the season ends. 

last sunday, the furry babies and i drove to nashville & stayed a night with my cousin. then monday morning, brianna & i drove a billion hours across the country to get home in time for my little sister's bachelorette party, rehearsal dinner, & wedding. 

oh yea, that happened too! it's been busy around here!

needless to say, i am SO happy to be home! truth be told, it doesn't quite feel like home yet without chris being here, but missing him aside, i am loving it. i started working at my mom's vintage shop, the pets are finally settling in, i've seen SO many of my favorite friends already, i started getting unpacked today & ummm colorado summer?? not so bad.

my heart is happy.
