celebrate.

last wednesday, i celebrated 26 years of life. chris had the most beautiful display for me to wake up to & some of the people i love the most in this world came over for my favorite meal, breakfast. chris made homemade donuts that i had been dreaming about for a week prior & am still dreaming of today... drool worthy people, like never buy another donut again good. it was the best morning & i just felt so so so loved & happy. afterwards, i was surprised by a day trip to estes park with my little family of three and half (which i will share tomorrow) and finished the day with dinner at my sister's. birthdays are to be celebrated, every day should be really, because every day is a new day of life, a new day for experiences & love & gatherings. i'm so thankful & this was only a reminder of the love & blessings that surround me. 26, here's lookin' atcha!

& later that night...

what are you thankful for?

osborn farms.

sunday was my kind of day.
family, fall, farmer’s market, pumpkin picking, picture taking.
gah-lee!
we drove over to loveland & enjoyed a family day just walking around, enjoying the beautiful fall-ish weather. i fell in love with husband even MORE. surprise, surprise! i just love how he enjoys life. he experiences things fully. we love the little things. just walking around the farmer’s market sampling just about everything, and it was a perfect day.
what is YOUR perfect day?!

so i guess we like to bowl…

… which makes this heart happy because it reminds me of one of my favorite ‘holiday seasons’ back in 2008 when we bowled a bit! i 100% LOVE being in colorado with my family. being with both husband AND my sisters at the same time?!

does it get better??

i, again… did NOT show my best bowling skills (as seen in the photo), which is SO weird too, because i have never been a bad bowler! I mean, i’ve never been pro either, but at least usually score in the 75-100 range. oh well. it was a fun night nonetheless! i am SO SO blessed with the family i have. the husband i have. the friends i have. the life i have. thank you Jesus, from the bottom of my big big heart :)

happy saturday!

everything is just peachy!

oh hello trimester two!
nice to meet you!
so in case you haven't heard... these days we compare growing babies & their size each week to fruits & veggies & all sorts of fun things like that. weird right? yea, i guess... but it makes for fun photo opps, so you know.
today marks 13 full weeks & during this past week, our little bun grew to the size of a peach!
not too shabby if you ask me! good job baby.
please keep our little in your prayers! pray that he or she keep growing strong in there & stay nice and cozy in the oven i am providing. we are SO thrilled about this little one & are thankful each day that God has chosen us.
one of my favorite lyrics from the song, 'your favor' by elevation worship goes like this:
"i'll give you everything i have, 'cause i was undeserving,
and you chose me"
it is truer than true every day. we are all undeserving of Christ's love and the sacrifice He made for us so that we could live.
live these glorious, joyful, hope filled lives.
but i feel it more now than ever.
He has chosen US. He has chosen ME. to have part in creating a life. to be given the responsibility and HONOR to raise another beautiful human being in His Name!
it's too big for me to fully wrap my head around, i am just thankful.
thank you Jesus. thank You for Your love.
&& thank you baby, you've already opened my eyes :)

sisters.

i am the middle sister, sandwiched between two beautiful & amazing women. it’s hard to describe the love between sisters. it’s a HUGE, messy, drive the get-away car kind of love. we bicker & don’t always agree on things, but we love each other so hard that it’s hard to stay mad for too long… and by too long i mean, an hour, IF. i have LOVED coming from a huge family & even more than that, having two sisters. It is one of my biggest prayers that chris & i have daughters and they have relationships like my sisters and i have. thank You, thank You LORD for my sisters & the love You have shown me through them!

a thankful post.

today i am thankful.
yesterday i heard about an incident that happened over the weekend of a life that ended to soon, with no notice. she didn't anticipate it, probably never thought in a million years that this would be how her life ended... but it did.
i am always deeply effected by things like this. it just breaks my heart. at first i am scared & stunned by the realness of it. I think of  how temporary this life is. we go through life, day by day, thinking that we will live to be 100 & pass away in our sleep, peacefully.
.. and we might.
i sure hope that i do! however, it makes me think about if that isn't God's plan for me, i want to be thankful TODAY. i want to spend time, love, do things TODAY. because we don't know what life has in store for our future.
i am thankful for everything i have, everyone i know, the love shown to me, & the chance i have every day to try and bless others. i am thankful that Jesus died for me, so that when my day does come.. i am forgiven & i can see Him in Heaven.
i pray for my safety, and the safety of my friends & family. i pray that we are blessed with 100 years together! i pray that YOU reading this, will also be thankful for your life!
it's a wonderful thing, don't waste a minute of it :)

happy tuesday!

decemberrrr.

it's here, it's here! december. probably my favorite month of the year. it is SO cold outside, yet there's so much warmth in our hearts and in our lives! praise God for december! it's CHRISTmas time & we are celebrating the birth of our Savior...

'son of God, loves pure light...'

THAT in itself is the most wonderful thing to be merry about! Also, the twinkling lights, the snow, CHRISTmas music, warm drinks, cozy fires, snuggling & hugs, loving hearts, giving, quality time, rosey cheeks... not to mention SOCKS, blankets, CHRISTmas movies, scarves & waiting for Santa :)

what is there NOT to love?! i do wish that people would tune into the greatness of our God all year, everyday... but if this time of year brings it out of them even a little, i am grateful for that! maybe this year CHRISTmas will just be the beginning for some, the start of an incredible journey with our LORD! i sure hope so :)
pinterest find of the day: this key is for Santa!
The poem reads: Dear Santa, This magic key works just for you. Please open the door and come on through. Thank you for coming to our house tonight. We are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Thank you Santa for the gifts you bring. Thank you Lord for everything.

definitely doing this for our littles one day :)
